Dead bounce, and easy weight identification. The reinforced steel molded in hubs are coated with a proprietary material that forms a chemical bond with the rubber that prevents separation. Most competitors press in the hub after the rubber is molded which will over time, always lead to failure. The 25 lb – 45 lb plates are the standard IWF 450mm in diameter. These bumper plates are slightly darker than our standard colored bumper plates and may contain blemishes.
Our unique and proprietary manufacturing process allows us to produce a bumper that has both higher tensile strength and hardness than competitor plates. This is accomplished by molding with a harder rubber near the core, which prevents the hub from separating and plate wobble over time, and a softer rubber on the outside to act as a buffer deadening the blow and sound from the plate when dropped. The rubber itself is 100% virgin and passes REACH and Rohs standards with a weight tolerance of /-0.5%.
